Since the apostolic era the church has always faced challenges against orthodoxy. In the 2nd Century, early church fathers such as Irenaeus in “Against Heresies”, spoke out to defend the faith once delivered by the apostles.
Islam raised a similar challenge in the 7th Century by denying three fundamental doctrines of Christianity:
- The authority of Scripture
- The divinity of Jesus
- The work of Jesus
MET Course aims to affirm biblical truth in response to Muslim claims so that participants can help their Muslim friends by taking them back to the original teaching of Jesus.
One of the aims of this course is to foster better relationships between Christians and Muslims and gain deeper understanding between the two faiths.
